║ The Informix Dynamic Server (IDS) is a high-end, enterprise class

║ relational database engine. It forms the core of the IDS family. ║
║ With the addition of Informix configuration options, the IDS can be

║ fine tuned for specialized purposes like OLAP, Massively Parallel ║
║ Processing, and Decision Support. IDS can also be extended to

║ operate on a broad range of datatypes and logic with the addition ║
║ of datablade modules. ║
